Hello All. Happy Friday!

The summer solstice is today at 4:59 pm Pacific Time.

As a reminder, today is ideal to participate in the following activities:

Celebrate - Dance, sing, burn a bonfire, enjoy it all under the midnight sun. Traditional themes include fertility, healing, and nourishment.
Weed Out the Old - Release and let go: old emotional patterns, things that require time and energy that are no longer worth it, negative thoughts, addictions, unhealthy habits, friends holding you back, etc.
Set Intentions - Intentions will be very powerful for the next few days, especially those felt deepest within your heart. Reflect at the happenings of spring and determine what your most passionate desires are now.
Give Thanks - Pause and feel the warmth of the sun. Give thanks to it for the life energy it provides to all of us on Mother Earth.
Connect - Whichever way you prefer, connect with your self, your friends, and the Divine. Take time for each this weekend.

So however you acknowledge the shift, make sure to pause and enjoy the moment. Also, don't forget to complete your Summer Worksheet and schedule your seasonal project as close to the solstice as possible.

Wishing you a very enjoyable and productive summer!

The Summer Solstice is almost here...

What is a Solstice?

The term solstice means "sun stands still." There are two per year, a winter solstice and a summer solstice. The winter solstice is the longest day of the year, when the sun is up for the shortest length of time. The summer solstice is the longest day of the year, when the sun is up for the longest period of time.

A Time for Celebrations.

For many the summer solstice is one of the most important holidays. Each year many gather all around the globe to celebrate with many different celebrations and meanings for various faiths. Most include dancing, burning bonfires, singing, and enjoying it all under the midnight sun. Strong themes include fertility, healing, and nourishment.

Solstice gatherings have been a tradition since ancient times. Most gatherings celebrated in June have been religious holy days, linked in some way to the solstice. Egyptians considered it the most important day of the year, representing the rise of the Nile. Nordic regions celebrated with merrymaking. More recently, Christians have acknowledged the feast of St. John the Baptist at this time. June has always been a favorite month for marriage ceremonies. In pre-historic times, some cultures nurtured newlyweds with honey to encourage fertile love.

Summer Solstice: Flourish.

The summer solstice occurs on June 21st. In astrology, this marks the entrance of the sun into the sign of Cancer. A popular interpretation of the first degree of Cancer is symbolized by, "A potter at work. Carving out a sacred place for what you most care about to flourish. Giving your all to a task or project, a way of life or shared stream..." (Ellias Lonsdale).

Pre-order the Daily Seed Planner now on http://www.ahamprema.com to receive it before the solstice on June 20th. Seed Planners will be released to print June 10th. Allow 7-10 days after your order for printing and shipping.

Update: Goals Sesh.

Posted on Apr 24th, 2008 by Aham Prema : Be Whole Aham Prema
As spring is the ultimate time of year for planting seeds, I have recently redone my goals. I dug up all of my old notes and made it priority to create a renewed vision of what I’m doing with my life. What a beautiful and empowering process. It felt great to make me such a priority in my life! :)

Looking Back
During the winter I had come to a few realizations about my self and my life. I saw how much I have developed and removed limits I previously imprisoned myself in. I had truly gone through a metamorphosis and felt empowered within like I could have never before imagined. My creation had taken on a greater level and I had become much more focused on what was most meaningful for me. It was great to reflect before moving forward to know what was most motivating for me now.

Looking Forward
Over time I had started collecting so many goals that they were overwhelming. I no longer felt motivated for them; they had become outdated. The best part of this goals session was envisioning what I wanted, freely, unlimited. Allowing my creative mind to soar first was a great exercise. Then I wrote the next few steps to get there and decided how to best bring them into my reality. I could then clear out all of the stuff I no longer needed to keep in mind.

Clear Mind
Knowing I am working on it and seeing the bigger picture of the process allows me to INJoy each step rather than quickening the pace, while still moving forward at a speed I am happy with.

A New Start
Next I lived as if it were a new life. I brought the change into my being right then. Feeling and living as I wanted. Just going through this process got me thinking in a new way and in the few weeks since, I’ve come up with some great new goals that make me very excited to think about. This all has helped rejuvenate my taste for my daily life, breaking up the old monotony, and is a lot of fun!

All the best to you in your seed planting! Let me know how it’s going.

In Love,
Dani

Divine Love

Divine Love is the purest and highest form of love, a radiant emanation that is compassion in action. It enhances, cherishes, and heals. This love is born with one’s self and, once developed, can be shared with others. One is empowered, living in an internal state of bliss and Injoyment that is present under all conditions. Divine Love is expressed in friendships based in development of highest self, sharing of experience, and deepening of Spirit. Friends assist each other in discovering truth (personal and universal), transcending fear into love, processing emotions to find their value, and developing creativity. A passion is shared in nurturing those actions that are felt strongest in each friend’s heart. A warmth and sincere dedication to service binds these friends in dynamic compassion, exuding sympathy, empathy, wisdom, and gratitude.

 Excerpt:

Spring Daily Seed Planner

March 18 through June 20, 2008

Beginning.  Planting Seeds.

Spring marks the beginning.  Many ancient calendars such as the astrological, Egyptian, and Persian calendars celebrate their new year on the vernal equinox, the first day of spring. On the spring equinox, day and night are exactly equal in length.  Over the season, the temperature warms up and the day grows longer.  Earth wakes up from hibernation and is anew.  The land is covered with green vegetation; new life is everywhere.

Held in the cold Earth during winter, bulbs have undergone changes invisible to our eyes. These bulbs that contain flowers such as daffodils are now blossoming. Many great achievements are born from a small, dark space.

All of the information you collected during winter is now ready to be utilized.  You can take your realizations from your inward journey and apply them to manifest what you want most.  It is a time for beginnings and is ideal to set new intentions. The seeds you plant now will grow over the spring and summer seasons.  They will be harvested in fall. As plants spring to life and flowers blossom, there is no better time to plant new life and allow potential to emerge.  The soil is fertile and the sun is shining. Gather your seeds and start spreading!  It is amazing to see how quickly they grow.

This is the ultimate time to set goals, start new projects, and create. Get started!

The cost will be $27 for either the small or large version.
